Ida Ansharyani was born and raised in Sumbawa Island, Indonesia. She holds a Master’s Degree from Gadjah Mada University and a PhD Degree from the Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, with the support from the Fulbright Scholarship. Her interest is in smallholders’ adaptation to climate change in dryland farming setting. She is currently undertaking a research on how ecosystem service concept is used in policy making in West Nusa Tenggara. This project is part of a National Science Foundation-USA funded study in three countries (Indonesia, Myanmar, and Viet Nam).
